Commencement of the government duties - 2025

The official event to commence the year's duties on the first office day of 2025, was held at the Divisional Secretariat premises under the leadership of Divisional Secretary Mrs. Rakulanayaki Sajindran on 1st January 2025.

A cultural event for students with special needs within the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat Division was held on 25.06.2024 at KM/SM/Ranamadu Hindu College, College Principal Mr. K. Kadirainathan led the event.

Compensation for victims of wild elephant attacks - 2024

the event of providing compensation payments for those affected by the effects of wild elephants in the areas under the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat Division was held on July 16, 2024 presided by Navithanveli Divisional Secretary Mrs. Rahulanayahi Sajndran. Amparai District Secretary Mr. Chinthaka Abeywickrama participated and issued the payments.

Awareness Meeting about National Handwashing Week and Noncommunicable Diseases

An awareness session about the National Hand Washing Week, which has been observed from June 24 to June 29, 2024, and noncommunicable diseases was held at the Divisional Secretariat's conference hall on June 24, presided over by Divisional Secretary Mrs. Rahulanayaki Sajindran.
