Distribution of dry food items by World Food Programme
The event of the distribution of dry food packages under the World Food Program to the selected beneficiaries under the Navithanveli Divisional Secretariat Division was organized by Divisional Secretary R. Under the leadership of Rahulanayaki, it was held on November 9, 2023, at Navithanveli Cultural Center.
Ampara District Governor, Mr. Sinthaka Abeywickrama, attended the event as the chief guest and distributed dry food packs to the beneficiaries. During this, one family of the selected beneficiaries was provided with dry food packages worth 15000 rupees for two months. In this event, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. P. Pranavaruban, Amparai District Secretariat Planning Director Mr. A. Anees, World Food Program Coordinator Mr. S. Pakyanathan, Divisional Secretariat Accountant Mr. K. Rizvi Yahsar, Divisional Secretariat Deputy Planning Director Ms. D. Krubairaja, Administrative Officer Mr. K. Yogeswaran, Samurthi Head Quarter Manager Mr. S. Shivam Many people including Divisional Secretariat officials and beneficiaries participated.
